Back-to-School Village is about so much more than pencils, notebooks and backpacks.
It’s about the love of an entire community being poured into its children.
Through the simple lens of school supplies, K-12 students walked away not only prepared for the classroom but also with the assurance that they are seen, valued, and supported.
Corporate partners, volunteers, and donors came together through our Listen for the Honk program to make sure every underserved family felt the strength of a community standing behind them. Receiving the supplies in their own neighborhoods made it extra special. (We captured the story in pictures, below!)
What could have been just a distribution of supplies became a powerful reminder that when we invest in our kids, we invest in hope, dignity, and possibility.

Each family is offered grade-appropriate school supplies, fresh and shelf-stable food, clothes, and hygiene items, including diapers. It's a lot to carry!
